Flash to BattleGround, WA U.S.A:
Aubrey is sitting on the chair next to the table, eating a bagel in her pajamas, and watching the news on her dad's laptop. Cars trying to outrun the ocean water sweeping through the small island, people getting out of the cars and running on foot, all shows on a video taken from a CNN helicopter.
Hundreds dead. And they haven't even started the recovery process: they'll find many more tomorrow, more the next day...
There isn't a bang to this post. I just wanted to express my frustration that I spend my life sleeping, eating, and learning how to write perfectly while everyone else is living under cardboard boxes and eating less one meal a week IF they're lucky. 310,969,226 in America. Most of us eat heartily. 6,905,166,544 in this world. America isn't even a percentage. And I'm irritated when my ipod dies.

Not that I'm unhappy to be an American. I'm not. I'm blessed to have a home, a family, food, etc. But I could at least be doing something profitable. And I hope we're grateful for what we have. Because sometimes, I frustrate myself beyond words.
Do we realize how many unsaved people died today? Buddhism, Agnosticism, and Hinduism are dominate religions in that country. That wave and earthquake killed hundreds of them in under and hour.
G-d is sovereign. And we can only do what we can do. But I honestly think what we're doing is not the best we can do.
G-d save Japan.
